Detailed Glass Terminology
1. The term sun roof is most common ,but in more modern vehicles, complete glass roofs are becoming the norm
2. Windshields are complex on today's automobiles, you may hear terms like; rain sensor, climate control, heated wipers, Lane departure camera, collision detection , heads up display etc. Become familiar with the accessories on your glass .
3. Vent glass can be in the front and rear side of the vehicle. In some cases antennas can be on some rear vent glasses. Not shown in this picture SUV's have rear quarter panel glass.
4. Front door glass can be traditional tempered safety glass that shatters into small cubed shapes. The other type of door glass is laminated made like the windshield ,this glass has three layers .This type of glass displays cracks when impacted similar to windshields. This glass supports the deployment of airbags.
5. Rear door glass can be one piece or two piece combinations, most of the time the smaller glass does not lower. In a convertible vehicle both will lower.
6. Back glass is most cases is heated, they can also have a antenna.

Booking & Cancelation info
Booking a repair can be achieved online or by phone. After receiving
a quote, simply agree to terms, cost and cancelation policies.
In order to assure no delays with your repair additional info may be necessary. In the event more info is needed we will contact you
with a request. When your vehicle requires or you request OEM GLASS you will be required to make a deposit or a full purchase of the glass. OEM glass in most cases is non returnable to dealership, in the event of a cancelation of repair EAS would incur these costs. There is no requirement of pre purchase of aftermarket glass unless a extensive amount of the vehicles glass is damaged. In the event a customer may not be present or available for the repair a prepayment may be necessary. Please contact us with any questions.
Cancelations of repairs should be made 24hrs in advance. While we understand that unforeseen events may occur and cancelation is unavoidable, we can not honor prior quote if you decide to rebook. Cancelations of a vehicle repair requiring a OEM glass, will incur a cancelation fee in the amount of 50% of the cost of the glass. In some cases theses fees may be waved by EAS when the glass is non specialized or in high demand. We at EAS will make all attempts to resolve all issues involving a cancelation.
